Angela Arendse, a spirited, driven and dedicated retiree, has transformed her lifelong passion for quality, wholesome ingredients and cooking into a fresh startup.
Born and raised in Simonstown, one of the prettiest coastal towns in the southern hemisphere of South Africa. Here is where Angela developed an early love for homemade foods, often spending weekends in her mother’s kitchen with a watchful eye, as her mother whipped up the most delightful mouth-watering goodies whilst learning the importance of fresh ingredients.



In 2023, Angela officially launched “Aunty Ange”, her preservative free, home-made company. Her start-up focuses on using only the freshest ingredients. Each jar is a testament to her dedication, creativity and a commitment to sharing the joy of exceptional flavours.
